Greytown House is a six storey terraced office building built in the 1970s, located on Colchester High Street.  The busy location is shared with the Town Hall, which is on one side, and with shops, which are to the other side.

Works included a rear extension at ground floor level, which is supported on steel V shape legs and creates an under-croft area.

The new extension formed the shell for three new restaurants.  The high-street frontages of these restaurants benefited from the installation of new glazing and doors, with adaptations to the stonework.

The top four floors of the building, which will later be converted into residential flats, were made good internally, had windows replaced and new Velux windows installed to the mansard, as well as the existing stone cleaned.

Additionally, a new substation was installed at the rear of the building, to supply power to the retail and residential area.
