Located in a prominent position within the town centre of St Albans, this existing three storey premises will be extended and refurbished by Oakmont Construction, working with Legal & General, Canmoor, Quartz Project Services Ltd and Hale Architects.

Once complete, 10 Bricket Road will deliver approximately 43,0000 sq ft of office space over four floors, and will include a basement car park, shower facilities, cycle stores, plantrooms and ancillary areas, with a new glazed feature entrance.

The site is in a busy location; to the West of the St Albans City Train Station, bounded by Bricket Road to the North and West, with Upper Marlborough Road to the East and a residential development to the South boundary.

Oakmont will deliver an additional level to the building to replace the existing roof level plant, as well as undertaking a four storey extension infill to the West elevation.

The building will receive extensive works to the external façade including new brickwork, curtain walling, metal and brick slip cladding.  The scheme involves a full CAT A fit out with high end finishes to the new central WC cores and new reception areas.  There will be new MEP systems throughout with new modern low carbon, high efficiency systems being installed The building is set to receive BREEAM Very Good status.
