Twickenham Academy (Phase Two)
Oakmont have recently completed their second phase of reconfiguration works at this school. This phase of works involved the reconfiguration of the existing teaching spaces to provide layouts that are better suited to the evolving needs of the school and created in excess of 800m2 of additional teaching space.
The works undertaken by Oakmont predominately covered the removal of existing plasterboard and glass partitions and reconfiguration to form new teaching spaces, science labs, IT arena and library, along with new floor finishes throughout the school. Adaptations to the mechanical and electrical services, including the provision of new combined lighting radiant panels, also fell under Oakmont’s remit.
The majority of the works were carried out during the school’s six week summer holiday period to ensure that all works were completed for the new autumn term. The project was successfully handed over with completed facilities for the returning students and to the complete satisfaction of the school.Lets work together
