Brighton Retail Park gets an Upgrade

Oakmont have recently completed a programme of refurbishment works at the Pavilion Retail Park in Brighton on behalf of Aviva Investors.

The project consisted of the strip out and fit out of a vacant unit, which was then inhabited by retailer Halfords.  An existing B&Q unit and the former Halfords unit, was then also stripped back and fitted out to create additional retail space before being occupied by food retailer Aldi.  A new Costa Coffee pod was also constructed in the car park area of the retail park.

Additionally, the scheme included new flat faced façade cladding, the installation of new roofs, and the updating of the shop frontages to all units.

Externally the car park was resurfaced and new access to the main road was provided, in addition to reconfiguration works to accommodate the new extension and the Costa pod.  Several car charging points have also been installed to provide electronic car charging.

All the works were carried out in a live environment whilst all the retail units were still trading.
